Teboho Mahlatsi’s memorial service details have been revealed. The seasoned filmmaker died on Monday, 3rd of July 2023 and the cause of death wasn’t officially announced or confirmed by the family.
The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, 12th of July at Atlas Studio in Johannesburg.
Friends and colleagues of the Yizo Yizo creator are pained by his passing and some have taken to social media to pay tribute to him.
“I cannot believe that the man that shaped & revolutionized the South African film & TV industry, is gone!!! I was so excited about our project together it was not only a bucket list moment, but to be directed by the person that sparked my interest in SOUTH AFRICAN film was a dream come true,” Minnie wrote.
