Thando Thabethe stars in a sci-fi animated series titled My Dad the bounty hunter. Season 2 of the Netflix series is set to debut on the 17th of August, 2023. Taking to social media, the South African actress announced the series which she features, revealing that it’s her first animation.
She also dropped the trailer which was exciting to view, as some of her fans tried identifying Thando’s voice.
“New work alert‼️‼️‼️ first look at My dad the bounty hunter 2 coming to @netflix 17 AUG…my first animation!!! Sooooo cool. The sci-fi animated series aimed at young audiences first debuted on Netflix globally on February 9th to positive reviews from audiences and critics alike.
The series follows Terry’s children, Lisa and Sean, who discover their father’s secret life as a bounty hunter, propelling them into a thrilling space odyssey.
Season 2 will also feature brand new voice actors featuring alongside returning stars Laz Alonso, Yvonne Orji, Priah Furguson, and Yvette Nicole Brown.
