Jamie Foxx has spoken out about his health after the “medical complication” he endured, with the actor shedding light on how he’s doing now.
Back in April it was revealed that the esteemed actor had experienced a “medical complication”, with the cause of his ill-health unknown. It then soon emerged that the They Cloned Tyrone actor had been hospitalised while he dealt with the health scare. Jamie’s family then revealed in May that he was no longer in hospital. Jamie has since shared a video where he addressed his health woes and cleared up any speculation.
But now Jamie has spoken out once again, with him opening up in a new Instagram post where he writes a lengthy caption updating his loyal legion of fans on how he feels and how the journey has been for him.
Taking to the photo-sharing platform to share a string of snaps that show the actor standing by a rustic-looking doorway, Jamie can be seen looking just like his usual self. In the series of photos, Jamie donned a plain white T-shirt with some beige-coloured chino-style trousers. Accessorising with a crocheted hat, Jamie also wore some sunglasses and he held onto a red-coloured Croc shoe.
Jamie looked effortlessly cool and extremely content as he leant up against the rustic-looking wooden door frame. Posing for the snaps, he glanced into the distance and smiled a little.
Writing a caption to accompany his newly uploaded snaps, Jamie penned: “You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light.”
He added: “I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day.” Jamie then concluded with three hashtags, with one that read: “I’m back and better”.
Fans went wild in the comments, with many incredibly overjoyed that Jamie was getting back to his normal self and feeling lots better after his ordeal. One person penned: “You had the whole world praying for you! Stay focused on God! Love you!”
A second fan then added: “Look like a million bucks Jamie! Been a fan since ‘The Show’ and own every stand up special. It’s very inspiring to see you on the road to recovery. Know that you are an inspiration to others overcoming adversity. God bless.” Meanwhile, a third penned: “Look who is back! SO happy to see you Like this. Thank God.”
