Grammie Mtetwa, the former manager of Zimbabwean musician Gary Tight, has taken control of Gary Tight’s social media pages such as Facebook and YouTube following their professional separation. Mtetwa claims that he was managing the accounts and therefore owns them, leaving Gary Tight to pursue legal action in an attempt to regain control over his online presence.
The situation came to light when Gary Tight discovered that he could no longer access or manage his official social media pages. It is alleged that Mtetwa, who had previously been responsible for the management of these accounts, changed the login credentials, effectively locking Gary Tight out of his own social media platforms.
He has so far renamed the Facebook page to Godfrey G.M from Gary Tight and is now being used to push Mbeu’s content.
Youtube has been renamed from Gary Tight Entertainment to a G.M marketing company. Gary Tight is seeking legal recourse and his legal team is now working to reclaim ownership and control over the compromised social media accounts and get them back in 7 days.
