Cardi B and Offset are celebrating five years of marriage. On Wednesday, the “WAP” hitmaker shared a sweet video on Instagram of a massive floral arrangement in honor of her wedding anniversary with Offset.
“Thank you sooo much baby 💕,” Cardi, 30, began in a lengthy post expressing her affection for her husband.
Music played in the background as the Grammy winner sang along and showed off a foyer adorned with flowers.
“Thank you for the flowers, the empowerment, the protection and for being a great father to our children,” she wrote. “I love so many things about you.”
Cardi then listed what she admires most about her hubby, 31, including “the fact that I’m with a grown ass man that’s going to provide, protect and help both of us GROW and can handle my mouth, my attitude, my confidence my weakness and all this ASS!!😜”
The “I Like It” rapper admitted that what she loves most about the “Bad and Boujee” artist is that he takes time to “study” her.
“It’s always the lil things that make me smile or even drive me off the wall 😩Happy anniversary to US,” she added.
Despite Offset publicly proposing to Cardi during Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia in October 2017, the couple had already privately tied the knot on Sept. 20, 2017, in Atlanta.
They share two children together, daughter Kulture Kiari, 5, and son Wave Set, 2. Offset is also a father to sons Jordan, 13, and Kody, 8, and daughter Kalea Marie, 8, from previous relationships.
While promoting her new single with Megan Thee Stallion, “Bongos,” earlier this month, Cardi spoke with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up about her relationship with Offset.
She admitted that prior to dating, she “never would’ve thought that” she would end up marrying a member of Migos, adding that she is “very different” from her husband
“We’re very different from each other. Yin and yang for real,” she added. “But one thing that we like both love, we both love family. We are each other’s support system. I know that he backs me up a hundred percent and I back him up a hundred percent.”
“Like, we do be needing that fire. I mean, we’re two different people, like we’re very, very like different from each other, but I think that’s what make us, work,” Cardi continued.
The Love & Hip Hop: New York alum and Megan performed their new single “Bongos” at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sept. 12.
As the ladies hit the stage, Offset was seen in the front row, dancing to the banger. His energy intensified at the end of the performance when cameras caught him jumping up and down as he cheered for his wife.
The couple also walked the red carpet together ahead of the show.
“I can body every look and I can body every pose,” Cardi captioned an Instagram carousel, using a lyric from the new track.
While the majority of the photos revealed her posing for photographers in a futuristic strapless gown, the last image saw Cardi and Offset holding hands as they packed on the PDA.
