Jub Jub expresses excitement after his show, Uyajola 9/9 got ranked the number one most-watched show on DSTV for the month of August.
It was reported that the show dethroned Shaka iLembe TV drama; though the drama series has concluded its first season. Taking to Instagram, the rapper appreciated the support received, as it has garnered him success.
“Humility & your support has brought me this far. While they talk, God keeps on elevating me. Numbers don’t lie Jub did, there’s a God thank you to the undying support Jubnation,” he wrote. Jub’s followers further endorsed the show in the comment.
“Wishing the show don’t end, Moja love is sleeping on this show..SA love the show…it shouldn’t end,” a fan wrote. We won’t stop to support you ngwaneso Jub lamaswidi amaningi,” another wrote.

Former Metro FM presenter Masechaba Khumalo has given the police details of what happened on the day Jub Jub allegedly raped her when she was a virgin. Khumalo said she dated Jub Jub, real name Molemo Maarohanye, at the age 16 when she was a pupil at Mondeor High School between 1999 and 2000.
She said Maarohanye invited her to his parental home in Naturena, south of Joburg, to watch a movie. On arrival at his home, she exchanged pleasantries with Maarohanye’s parents, who were on their way out. Read more
