Well-known South African socialite Mihlali Ndamase’s boyfriend, Leeroy Sidambe has reportedly been ordered to pay spousal maintenance and accommodation rent for his estranged wife.
A local publication reports that the wife cannot be named for legal reasons.
According to the publication, the wife obtained a court order at the Johannesburg High Court.
It was previously reported that the wife had argued that because her ex can afford to shower Mihlali with luxury gifts and vacations, he can afford to pay spousal maintenance to the amount of R156 000.
Additionally, she also reportedly argued that the businessman is paying for the social media personality’s up-market cluster house in Bryanston, which is said to be more than the R100 000 he pays for the bond of their marital home.
In another argument for her R156 000 maintenance bid, the woman claimed that the couple had spent several nights at a 5-star hotel in Mexico which costs about R28 693 per night out of season.
“In a picture from Ndamase’s Facebook profile, uploaded on or about December 5 2022, Ndamase is seen reading a book while surrounded by eight Louis Vuitton shopping bags, displays a Louis Vuitton handbag with a further three-year Yves Saint Laurent shopping packages in the background,” read the papers.
She also made mention of their baecation in Mauritius with Somizi and his entrepreneur friend Ndo Maleho.
The court order was also to force Leeroy to return the luxury Range Rover Vogue Autobiography he had bought for the wife and later allegedly gave it to Mihlali.
Leeroy reportedly told his ex that he could not return the vehicle because he had taken it to PT Paint and Panelbeaters for repairs. However, after the wife’s lawyer visited the Panelbeaters, they allegedly discovered that the car was in for a bumper repair and not for a faulty brake system as he reportedly claimed.
In the court papers, she further said that her estranged husband laughed at her and told her that the police in Sandton would never arrest him because they do his bidding.
“I verily believe this, as they have done nothing to date despite the fact that I have laid a legitimate criminal complaint against the applicant,” read the papers.
