Candice Modiselle expresses excitement upon securing a win at the 2023 National Film and TV Awards. The star announced that she won the Best Actress category.
Candice who got emotional about being nominated went to the event with her mother; they returned home with an award.
“This one genuinely took me by surprise. I’m truly humbled by such a moment. The nomination alone was a milestone but winning Best Actress went far beyond my expectations. It’s been a bittersweet year, falling in and out of love with storytelling after 19 years of serving. What this win signifies is that there’s still much more to be accomplished,” the actress wrote.
Candice Modiselle penned a note of gratitude to the organisers of the awards, and every other brands that contributed to the success that she is today.
