Actor Sebastian Chacon accused by 3 women of r@pe and s.e.x.ual violence

Sebastian Chacon has been accused of raping and sexually assaulting three women. According to the complaint filed in New York and obtained by PEOPLE, the Daisy Jones & The Six actor’s alleged assaults took place between 2017 and 2022 in New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans.

An attorney for Chacon says in a statement to PEOPLE that the actor, 30, “vehemently denies these allegations.”

One woman, named Jane Doe 1 in the documents, claims she was 16 years old when she met Chacon on the set of a television show called Crash and Burn. Chacon, who was 24 at the time, allegedly groomed her for a “few weeks” and she claims their relationship became physical after the two shared a kiss after a date to the New Museum in New York City.

According to the lawsuit, Chacon frequently invited her back to his apartment where he allegedly groped and humped her. In one instance, she claimed the actor attempted to remove her pants until she refused.

Jane Doe 1 recalled attending a fundraising benefit where Chacon allegedly encouraged her to have multiple alcoholic beverages before they headed home on the subway. When the train neared her parent’s stop, she claims the actor kissed her to distract her from getting off and brought her to his apartment.

Chacon then allegedly performed oral sex on the minor as Jane Doe 1 quietly laid on the bed “feeling uncomfortable as well as drowsy and disoriented from the alcohol.” She claims the Emergency star eventually “forcibly” penetrated her vagina without consent or contraception.

The lawsuit states that she had not had sexual intercourse before and felt “excruciating pain” and “vaginal bleeding.” According to Jane Doe 1, Chacon eventually stopped after she said “something to the effect of ‘Stop, it hurts’” and allegedly rolled over without any attempts to console her and “ignored her.”

The next day, Jane Doe 1’s parents were “frantic” and even inquired Chacon about her whereabouts on Facebook. Knowing she would be in trouble for not coming home the night before, the teenager didn’t immediately tell her parents about the alleged sexual assault.

The other two women, named Jane Doe 2 and Jane Doe 3, claimed they were in romantic relationships with the actor and accused him of “love bombing,” a tactic recognized by psychotherapists as a “form of psychological and emotional manipulation that leads to gaslighting and abuse.”

Jane Doe 2 alleged that her relationship with Chacon was “hostile, aggressive and emotionally manipulative.” In the spring of 2019, the plaintiff shared she had begun to faint during sexual intercourse and lost consciousness during the act.

She claims that when she asked how long she had been unconscious, Chacon told her she’d been out for about 30 seconds, though sometimes it would be for longer. The lawsuit stated that the actor would take “nonconsensual photos” of Jane Doe 2 when she would be “naked and unconscious.”

She also alleged that he would continue sexual intercourse when she was unresponsive after fainting. When she asked Chacon to stop having sex with her while she was unconscious, he would allegedly “disregard her pleas by saying something to the effect of, ‘No, you’ll be fine.’”

Despite her confrontation and a conversation in March 2020 where she claims to have explicitly requested he stop sexual intercourse when she was unconscious, she alleges he continued and Jane Doe 2 would “would frequently regain consciousness” to find him still having sex with her.

As she began seeking medical assistance for her fainting spells, Jane Doe 2 alleges Chacon discouraged her efforts and claimed her fainting was “harmless.” At times, she also alleges Chacon would strangle her during sex to the point she lost consciousness and engaged in anal sex despite her objections in previous conversations.

In the lawsuit, Jane Doe 3 also shared similar accounts during her relationship with Chacon. She also claims the actor repeated “his pattern of love bombing” and detailed moments of “emotional” and “physical” abuse.

On Feb. 6, 2022, Jane Doe 3 alleges that the two were having sexual intercourse when he “applied great force” around her neck and squeezed. She says she “could not breathe” and “lost consciousness” before waking up to Chacon penetrating her and “moaning with pleasure.”

A few moments later, she alleges he penetrated her anus without “warning, consent or lubrication.” Despite saying “no,” the lawsuit alleges that Chacon “ignored her” and she stayed “quiet, as she was in pain, disoriented from the strangulation, and scared.”

She claims a similar incident happened again weeks later where Chacon allegedly placed his hand around her neck. Jane Doe 3 describes feeling “panicked and scared” and removed his hands from her neck.

The filing claims that Chacon later “bragged” to Jane Doe 3 and said something to the effect of, “This is how you choke someone so that they pass out.”

All three women have claimed that they have attempted suicide or had suicidal thoughts following the alleged incidents with Chacon.

They are seeking a trial by jury as well as “compensatory damages for all physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, physical and emotional pain, and suffering.”

In a statement to PEOPLE, Aurore DeCarlo, the attorney for the three women, said: “The facts alleged in the complaint, speak for themselves.”

“I just think it’s a huge testament to the strength and courage of these women that they found each other,” she continued. “They realized that they had experienced that same pattern of abuse or a very similar pattern of abuse and they’ve banded together to hold this individual accountable.”

“It was not an easy decision for them to make,” she added, “and they know that they have a hard road ahead of them, but it was very important for them to bring these allegations to light.”

Shortly after the lawsuit went public, Chacon’s attorney, Jeff Chabrowe, also shared a statement with PEOPLE. “Mr. Chacon vehemently denies these allegations,” he wrote. “Chacon and his close friends and family have been verbally abused, harassed, and threatened by the accusers” who have sought “millions of dollars” from the actor. “Mr. Chacon refused to compromise his ethical beliefs; this lawsuit is purely a result of his refusal to be extorted.”

Chabrowe continued: “Mr. Chacon will fully cooperate with any investigation and provide any evidence necessary to prove his innocence. We have complete faith in our legal system and trust that the truth will ultimately prevail.”
