Social media and socialite Felistas Murata popurlarly known as Mai TT is finally out of jail after being acquitted of all charges. Mai TT spent 63 days in prison.
According to a video shared on social media, the comedian left the prison facilities and had family and friends waiting outside to welcome her back home. Mai Titi can be seen in the video hugging her mother, daughters, and other family members who came to celebrate her return.
The comedian got emotional and cried as she enjoyed being in the presence of her loved ones again. Her mother could also be seen crying and overwhelmed by emotions on seeing her daughter free.
Mai Titi was convicted of fraud and theft of trust property and was served an 18-month jail sentence. After serving four and a half months after the High Court acknowledged flaws in her initial conviction.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the comedian to come out and take back her social media accounts. Her first post on Facebook read, ‘Kudenga kuna Mwari.’ which translates to ‘There is God in Heaven.’
