South African musician Deep London has gone legal against an upcoming Nigerian singer named Smada.

The Nigerian singer allegedly sampled London’s hit song, Hamba Wena featuring Boohle. The music producer tweeted that legal action has been taken over copyright infringement.

“The legal action against this @SuperSmada has been taken. This guy will pay … This is copyright infringement,” the music producer wrote.

However, some Nigerian tweeps flooded the tweet with defensive words, in support of the upcoming singer.
