Makhadzi’s alleged boyfriend, Shumani “Masala” Lawrence Mulaudzi has sued Musa Khawula for defamation. Some days ago, the controversial entertainment blogger revealed the singer’s lover and further described him to be a “dangerous thug” and associated him with one of Thohoyandou’s gangs called Tshisole.
“Meet Makhadzi’s dangerous thug boyfriend, Masala Mulaudzi. Masala Mulaudzi is a member of a thug group called Tshisole in Venda. The Tshisole thugs own a place called Jerusalem.
Last week, one of the Tshisole thugs called Target was shot and killed while in a meeting,” Khawula tweeted. The businessman through his lawyers demanded an apology from Musa and further opened a criminal case against him.
“It is our client’s instruction that on or about the 29th December 2023, at approximately 14:43, on X (formerly Twitter), you endeavored to intentionally and lawfully broadcast and publish misleading and defamatory statements concerning our client. You caused to publish defamatory statements,” reads the letter.

The legendary playwright and director, 68, was killed in a head-on car accident last Wednesday night while returning from a funeral in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape.
