Sbahle Mpisane is out on bail after being arrested for alleged reckless and negligent driving. Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Lt-Col Mavela Masondo confirmed: “a 30-year-old woman was arrested and charged with reckless and negligent driving”.
She is out on bail after she appeared in the Midrand magistrate’s court on December 29. The fitness guru and reality TV star has tongues wagging as many recall her car crash in 2018 that saw her spend months in hospital with severe injuries.
In an interview with YouTuber Owamie Hlongwane, Sbahle opened up about the events that led to the crash. She said her car burst into flame after she lost control of the vehicle on Margaret Mncadi Avenue in Durban during the early hours.
Owamie asked her if alcohol was involved at the time.
“The car accident wasn’t because Sbahle was drinking and driving, No. There happened to be a situation. The cameras were not working and either way it was something which was seen and I have approached the situation face to face and something happened,” she said.
“Someone was the cause of my car accident, but there were no cameras and I am alive. I happened to know the person. The person was my friend, but it’s nothing to talk about because I don’t want to mention their name and I am alive.”
