Genesis “Kaka” Mangombe, the coach of DYNAMOS Football Club, is currently facing allegations related to a car theft incident. Mangombe, who also serves as a policeman, is well-regarded as a promising young coach in the country and has been associated with the Warriors technical team.
The allegations, documented at Borrowdale Police Station under reference RRB 6009609, involve accusations by Moses Mkwesha. Mkwesha claims that in 2015, he entrusted his Mazda 323 to Mangombe for sale. However, according to Mkwesha, neither the vehicle nor the proceeds from its supposed sale were returned to him.
Mkwesha has expressed frustration over the unresolved matter, indicating that his relationship with Mangombe deteriorated as a result. He alleges that Mangombe has actively avoided him since 2015, even instructing his family to deny his presence when visited. Mkwesha has decided to pursue legal action against Mangombe, suggesting that Mangombe’s behavior may have changed due to his coaching responsibilities with a prominent team.
In response to these allegations, Mangombe has dismissed them as an attempt to damage his reputation. He has encouraged Mkwesha to address the issue directly rather than resorting to public accusations.
Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza was unavailable for comment at the time of reporting.
