L-Tido responds to DJ Maphorisa’s criticism on Sir Trill interview

South African rapper L-Tido responds to DJ Maphorisa’s accusations following Sir Trill’s podcast interview. The Asibe Happy artist took to social media to share payment screenshots to refute claims of unpaid collaborations allegedly involving DJ Maphorisa.

In a fiery exchange, DJ Maphorisa insinuated on Twitter, “Maybe he’s talking about other Grootmans. This young man needs help. I remember him not going to the music video [of] De Mthuda’s John Wick. I knew we were going to have a problem. Self-sabotage and karma from all the promoters you f**ked [by] not pitching [at] those gigs and f**k L-Tido Nyamao san.”

Responding to DJ Maphorisa’s post, L-Tido fired back, accusing him of cowardice: “Phori, you a f*cken coward marete a gao. I literally didn’t say sh*t about you. Deal with the people you robbing, not me.” The dispute drew support from DJ Prince Kaybee, who defended L-Tido, stating, “Le wena Nyamao. Stop being a bully to people who did nothing to you.”
