Zimbabwean preacher Prophet Passion Java has made headlines with his recent purchase of a $14 million building in the United States. The flamboyant leader of Kingdom Embassy Church proudly shared the news on his verified Facebook account, celebrating the new facility as a significant milestone for his ministry.
Java’s announcement was accompanied by a heartfelt message of gratitude to his congregation, prayer warriors, and ministry partners. He expressed his appreciation for their support and financial contributions, which he credits with making the acquisition possible. “Finally signed a 14 million USD building, Jesus be Glorified. We are excited to announce that we have our new building! Thanks to the prayer warriors, and partners, and the Kingdom Embassy family/Passion Java ministries for your dedication to this vision,” Java wrote on Facebook.
A video posted alongside the announcement shows Java and his wife, Lily, signing the paperwork for the property. In the video, Java discusses his plans for the future, including a significant shift in his travel habits. “Now that we have the building we have to work. Put my passport on the side. I’m not gonna be on the road anymore unless I am doing local conferences. If I am to step out of America, maybe three or five times max in a year. I’ll be right here preaching, prophesying, healing the sick,” Java stated.
In addition to celebrating the acquisition, Java addressed recent personal developments. He clarified why he and his wife had a second wedding, explaining that it was part of his efforts to rebuild his ministry and personal life. “Varume inini I am trying to rebuild my ministry. Zvekuramba ndichinzi ndirikurira ndakasiyana nazvo. Dzimwe nguva zvinombondibata hazvo but I think for the past year you can see I have grown and I have become a different man. Loving my wife and I have just had a wedding to restart my marriage. Unoziva ukamboita zvimhepo mhepo semurume tangidza kuti zero woda mukadzi wako womuitira mumwe muchato ofara then you live a life yekuti iye anoona kuti its plain. So I did that for my wife,” Java explained.
In a move towards reconciliation, Java also offered apologies to fellow clerics Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and Tom Deuschle, acknowledging past errors and seeking to mend relationships within the broader religious community. Prophet Passion Java’s new acquisition and personal revelations mark a new chapter in his ministry, signaling a renewed focus on his U.S. base and a commitment to personal and spiritual growth.

Advocate Thabani Mpofu, a prominent ally of Nelson Chamisa, has lodged a formal complaint with the Southern African Development Community (SADC) against Lieutenant-General Anselem Sanyatwe, the Zimbabwe National Army Commander. The complaint, submitted on August 1, comes in the lead-up to the SADC summit scheduled for August 17 in Harare, where President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to be a key topic of discussion.
In his letter to SADC, Mpofu accuses Sanyatwe of making unconstitutional remarks that threaten the integrity of Zimbabwe’s electoral process. The complaint highlights Sanyatwe’s alleged statements at a Zanu-PF rally, where he purportedly promised “command voting” in future elections and declared that Zanu-PF would maintain its rule indefinitely.
