Jah Prayzah’s musical triumph with the launch of his new album Ndini Mukudzeyi has been met with a show-stopping gesture of appreciation from businessman and philanthropist Sir Wicknell Chivayo—who gifted the superstar a brand-new 2025 Range Rover Autobiography valued at US$150,000, along with US$150,000 in cash.
The lavish gift followed the album’s official launch on May 3, 2025, at Old Hararians Sports Club, where fans witnessed Jah Prayzah unveil his most personal and culturally rooted project yet. The album’s title, Ndini Mukudzeyi, which means “I am Mukudzeyi” in Shona, reflects the artist’s real name and journey of self-discovery.
Sir Wicknell’s congratulatory Facebook post, which quickly went viral, praised Jah Prayzah as “THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME” and a “PHENOMENAL musician” whose work transcends generations and unites Zimbabweans through music. In the post, he wrote:
Jah Prayzah – The Goat
“A GOAT like you deserves to drive nothing but the highest luxury… Your brand new 2025 Range Rover Autobiography is fully paid for and ready for collection. In addition, please collect your US$150,000 in cash as promised.”
He also commended Jah Prayzah for his consistency, artistry, and deep impact on Zimbabwean culture, recalling the artist’s evolution from early hits like Ndinotsvaga Mariah and Gochi Gochi to national anthems like Kutonga Kwaro.
The gift comes as Jah Prayzah kicks off his Ndini Mukudzeyi World Tour, with stops in the UK, Germany, North America, and beyond—further elevating his status as a cultural ambassador.
This extraordinary recognition from Sir Wicknell marks a new milestone in Jah Prayzah’s illustrious career, showing just how deeply his music continues to inspire and influence across all levels of society.
