With a heavy heart, I Jah Prayzah write to you today.
I Jah Prayzah was fully prepared and genuinely excited to meet you all in Washington D.C. on July 4th and Dallas on July 5th. I know that many of you had already made your travel plans, booked hotels, and purchased your tickets in anticipation of what we hoped would be unforgettable shows. Just like you, I was looking forward to giving you the experience you deserve—one filled with music, celebration, and the unbreakable connection we share.
Earlier this month, my team and I attended our scheduled U.S. visa appointments. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue on our application forms, we were unable to proceed as expected. This wasn’t a denial of our visas, as some have inaccurately suggested. The truth is, we simply ran into a bureaucratic hiccup that required us to restart the process and reapply—something that takes time. And time, in this case, was not on our side.
Jah Prayzah Addresses U.S. Tour Postponement, Promises Fans a Return Soon
We made every effort to correct the issue and secure new appointment dates. The U.S. Consulate was cooperative and tried its best to accommodate us. However, due to the tight timeline and the unavailability of expedited appointments, we were unable to complete the process in time for the July shows.
I understand the disappointment this brings, especially to those who went above and beyond to make arrangements. Trust me when I say that no one is more disappointed than I am. The stage is where I come alive, and missing the chance to share that space with you is a deep personal loss.
To the organisers on the ground—DJ Nhunzi and the team at Xcelerate—I want to extend my sincere gratitude. Your efforts and commitment to making these shows a success did not go unnoticed, and I’m incredibly thankful for your professionalism, patience, and support through this process.
To all my fans in the U.S., please know that this is not a cancellation, but rather a delay. I Jah Prayzah remain fully committed to fulfilling this leg of the Ndini Mukudzeyi World Tour in the very near future. We are already working hard behind the scenes to secure new dates, and I promise you, when we finally make it happen, it will be worth the wait.
For those who had already purchased tickets, full refunds will be issued. You will also be the first to be informed when new dates are confirmed—we want to make sure you still have the first opportunity to be part of the experience when we return.
Jah Prayzah Speaks on U.S. Tour Postponement, Assures Fans He’ll Be Back Soon
While this setback is disheartening, there is still much to look forward to. Our Canadian tour dates are going ahead as scheduled. We will be performing in Edmonton on July 11 and in Toronto on July 12. Everything is in place, and I can’t wait to share those special moments with our fans in Canada. The energy, the music, and the celebration of our journey continue.
In this journey, we may encounter detours, but our destination remains unchanged. Thank you all for your unwavering love, patience, and support. It is your belief in me that keeps this dream alive, and I promise to honour that with every note I sing and every show I perform.
With love and respect always,
Jah Prayzah
