Madam Boss Slams Mai TT in Fiery Outburst

Madam Boss has reignited her long-running feud with fellow comedienne Mai TT, accusing her of being obsessed and desperate for attention. In a heated public exchange, Madam Boss claimed Mai TT thrives on provoking her to stay relevant, sparking renewed interest in their bitter rivalry.

The latest fallout was sparked when Mai TT threw shade at Madam Boss by referring to her as “Beyoncé wekutemu,” a sarcastic Shona term loosely translating to “a knockoff Beyoncé.” The remark was seen as a direct attack on Madam Boss, who recently underwent cosmetic enhancements, reportedly drawing inspiration from the global pop icon Beyoncé.

In an unfiltered interview with Standard Style, a visibly frustrated Madam Boss pulled no punches. She alleged that Mai TT had been envious of her from the very beginning of their careers.

“From way back, from when we started, she has always wanted to be me and has always hated me,” Madam Boss said. “This woman needs to go to rehab and get help. She’s been to jail, so she has a lot of trauma. Jail is no joke.”

While Madam Boss acknowledged that some people are imprisoned unfairly, she was quick to point out that in Mai TT’s case, her crimes were well-documented and publicly known.

“She is a fraudster—both locally and internationally—and I have no business associating with such people,” she added.

Madam Boss did not stop there. She openly dismissed Mai TT as someone who posed no real competition to her, saying she had surpassed her rival by every metric.

“You should quote me on this: she is nothing next to me,” she declared. “Yes, some of our fans may overlap, but I have my own loyal supporters, and that drives her crazy. I am simply bigger than her.”

Recalling their early days, Madam Boss shared how she once gave Mai TT a helping hand when she was still finding her footing in the entertainment world.

“When we first started, I hoped we could work well together. I even welcomed her into my home—she knows where my house is built,” she said. “But she envies me. Unlike her, I don’t like flaunting what I have.”

When asked why she usually refrains from responding to Mai TT’s provocations, Madam Boss cited her professional brand and family obligations as the main reasons for her restraint.

“I always try to ignore her because I value my brand and those I work with,” she explained. “I’m a married woman with in-laws whom I respect. I can’t let her drag me into unnecessary drama.”

Madam Boss admitted that physical confrontation was out of the question, but she couldn’t help but take a final swipe.

“I’m not a fighter, and she seems used to that kind of life,” she said. “If she wants a fight, she’d probably beat me. Maybe she should just do that and go back to jail.”

Responding to Madam Boss’s accusations, Mai TT struck a defiant tone, claiming that she was the one who kept Madam Boss relevant.

“I gave her those lyrics for her song—she owes that to me,” Mai TT said. “Everything she does now is because I inspire it. If I so much as cough, she has content. Otherwise, there’s nothing more to say about someone I practically made.”

Despite her earlier hesitation to engage publicly, Madam Boss’s latest remarks have thrown more fuel on a fire that has burned for years. Ironically, the very person she claimed to be “beneath her” continues to dominate her narrative.

What began as a professional rivalry has now evolved into one of Zimbabwe’s most public and personal celebrity feuds. With both women commanding massive online followings, fans have taken sides, amplifying the tension on social media.

As the back-and-forth continues, industry watchers are urging both stars to redirect their energies into their careers and set a more positive example for their audiences. Yet, with tempers flaring and egos bruised, the Madam Boss–Mai TT saga shows no signs of cooling down.
