Mzansi actress Amanda du-Pont and Shawn Rodriques are reportedly divorced. The estranged couple shared only three years of marriage. Documentation by the court seen by a local publication confirmed the couple’s marriage has officially ended.
In many pictures du-Pont shared on her Instagram recently, she can be seen without her wedding ring. However, many of her followers did not make a big deal out of it. She mostly posts pictures in her gym gear, so it was not an obvious observation for her followers to pick up on.
Nobody thought that there could be trouble in paradise for the couple until controversial blogger Musa Khawula lit the flame. The blogger shared that du-Pont was spotted with a new man in Cape Town, IOL reported.
The actress clapped back at the blogger and dismissed the rumour. She pleaded with Khawula to leave her name out of his gossip and Tweeted,

Following the rumour, Rich and Famous South Africa reported that the TV personality was reportedly seen on several vacations. She allegedly had surgery in Turkey, and Rodriques was nowhere to be found.
In addition, the couple reportedly deleted all pictures that they posted of each other.
According to Savanna News, du-Point and the prominent businessman have had a troubled marriage dating back to 2021. The Skeem Saam actress’s last post shared of Rodriques was reportedly on 10 May 2021. In the picture, the couple was on a game drive on a rainy day.
Meanwhile, Rodriques’s last post of du-Point was reportedly on 17 August 2021.
In 2018, Amanda and her estranged husband vacationed in the north-central Indian ocean at the Maldives.
The stunning actress blogged the entire trip on her YouTube channel.
On the last day of the trip, Rodriquez surprised du-Point with a proposal. He took her on an intimate walk at the beach, got down on one knee and popped the big question.
The couple wedded in a low-key ceremony.
