Former Black Motion member, Murdah Bongz or Morda Mohosana is technically now a father of three. The former Black Motion member has a child with his ex-girlfriend who he has kept away from the spotlight. He then has a daughter, Asante, with his now-wife and fellow producer-DJ DJ Zinhle.
However, in marrying Zinhle, Bongani also became the step-parent to DJ Zinhle’s eldest daughter Kairo Forbes. But while Kairo’s biological father Kiernan “AKA” Forbes was still alive, there weren’t any posts shared of Bongani and Kario to let us into the dynamic of their relationship.
But with calls for Bongani to step up following the untimely passing of AKA, DJ Zinhle is slowly letting us into what Bongani looks like as a co-parent and step-father.
Taking to her Instagram stories, DJ Zinhle who has been a pillar to the Forbes family finally shared a post which seemed to assert that Bongani has been welcomed into the fold as much as Zinhle has.
This is as the Umlilo hitmaker shared an adorable image of herself, Kairo, Bongani with the Forbes family including AKA’s mother and father Lynn and Tony Forbes, and the aunt.
It is unclear whether the image was taken recently or if it is an image taken before the assassination of AKA. But it does affirm that despite Bongani not being part of the memorial and funeral service, that he is welcomed and considered part of the many “adopted” Forbes children as suggested by Lynn during her memorial service eulogy.
Moreover, it puts to the rest suggestions of bad blood between Bongani and the Forbes family. As reported at the time:

While it seems that men of the Forbes family are currently in Durban in an attempt to find answers. DJ Zinhle, who shares daughter Kairo Forbes with AKA, seems to have taken the helm in Johannesburg as plans need to be made in terms of the funeral arrangements and memorial service.
DJ Zinhle arriving with “brother” Oskido were seen arriving at AKA’s Johannesburg complex. But more than just DJ Zinhe, her brothers, sisters and the Era by DJ ZInhle team were all recorded arriving at AKA’s private residency. Other celebrities include Kabelo Mabalane.
As such, it is assumed that DJ Zinhle is currently helping the Forbes family deal with the arrangements. This is as DJ ZInhle and AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes, have always had a strong relationship since DJ Zinhle was pregnant with Kairo [as] Lynn or Glammy stayed with Zinhle during the first few years of Kairo’s birth.
As Zinhle has been supportive and many have charged her husband, Bongani “Morda” Mohosana with being a supportive father figure to Kairo Forbes, it seems that he will not be attending the funeral. This is as the statement attributed the fact to “observing cultural protocol.”
