Mzansi actress, model, and presenter, Pearl Thusi has been in the US for the past couple of months. As reported when she took to Twitter to share her intra-continental excursions:
She has been travelling a lot this past couple of months. Initially starting her travels in the US, specifically Los Angeles. The Queen Sono lead then travelled to Nigeria, India, then Brazil and again travelled back to Los Angeles. While travelling, Pearl did not fail to make headlines in South Africa.
I’ve been in 4 continents in one month. 5 countries .

However, it seems that in light of her 35th birthday, Thusi made sure she was home to celebrate the special day with all of her loved ones.
The sisterhood between DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi has been one that has been followed with a lot of speculation. This is as in the years since they formed their friendship allegedly on the back of the mutual dislike for fellow media personality Bonang Matheba, there has been speculation of the end and rekindling of their friendship.
However, it seems that in 2023, their friendship is closer and stronger than ever. This is as DJ Zinhle enjoyed her 39th birthday with Pearl in Cape Town.
As such, it seems that DJ ZInhle returned the favour this time around. This is as she not only helped Pearl get ready for the pre-birthday celebrations on Friday, 12 May 2023. But Zinhle was also part of the party which ushered Pearl into her 35th year when the clock struck 12.

Moreover, besides the two besties, Pearl’s birthday celebration was filled with fellow Mzansi celebs all celebrating her. This included Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena, newly acquired friend Nadia Nakai and AKA’s friend and DJ Don Design, DBN Gogo, Uncle Vinny and an entourage of other celebs.
However, one person that was not there nor has gone on social media to wish the star a happy birthday is rumoured boyfriend and fellow celebrity, Anatii. This is as in the past Pearl has seemingly confirmed dating him as it was reported then:
Pearl Thusi has had a number of high-profile relationships making headlines throughout her career in the spotlight. From “baby daddy” Walter Mokeona, who she shares her eldest daughter with, Thando, to her relationship with sports commentator and veteran Robert Marawa. Both of whom had proposed and were traditionally engaged to the star.
As such, after the breakups and speculations on her love life thereafter, Thusi vowed that she would not make her subsequent relationships public. At the time, she had stated that the reason she was not public about her relationships anymore was due to is’dima as her family would see headlines and stories about her relationships and subsequent breakups.
But that does not mean that Thusi has done a great job of keeping the matter of her dating and love life private. Slowly but surely, the Queen Sono lead continues to tease and suggest that she is in a relationship with Hip-Hop artist and producer, Anatii.
