Congratulations are in order for Mpumelelo Mseleku and his second girlfriend after they revealed there are expecting a baby together. Mpumelelo has two girlfriends — his first is Vuyokazi Nxiweni, with whom he shares a three-year-old daughter, and his second, Tirelo, is now pregnant.
As Izingane zeS’thembu premiered on Mzansi Magic on Tuesday, Tirelo took to her Instagram timeline unveiling her baby bump with the caption “Something is brewing.”
Mpumelelo spoke candidly about starting a family during his sit-down on The Venting Podcast where he revealed some babies had passed away.
“I have a small child that is growing, and now I will get another one … There were others that died through a miscarriage,” he said.
The reality TV star spoke on his decision to follow in his father Musa Mseleku’s footsteps by having two girlfriends, saying he understood polygamy was not about money, but he was making sure he could afford more than one.
“We have a lot of girlfriends and then there would be one you choose as a woman you could take home to introduce to the family. You can’t just have one girlfriend and make that girl your wife only for that person to betray you. You have to date a lot of women, then choose,” he said.
“I love women. I would be lying if I said my father convinced me into being a polygamist. If I was doing it for my father, I would not be able to continue doing it. I am still going to continue. I won’t say how many women I plan to have, but they are more than my father has.”
