Actress and filmmaker Connie Ferguson took to social media to remember Shona since his passing. The award-winning actor and film producer died of Covid-19-related complications on July 30, 2021.
Taking to her Instagram timeline she shared moments she had with her late husband. And she said everything still feels so real with you my love.
She went on to express that it’s through her “faith” and “complete trust in God” that she’s still standing strong. True love never dies, and I carry this love with me in my heart and soul for eternity. Thank you for the beautiful everlasting love and memories my angel Sho,” she wrote. My LOVE.
I can’t believe today marks the second anniversary of your transition! Time has become so strange to comprehend. You’re still so alive in my heart and in my mind and in the memories we shared. I still feel your presence so much, but the thought of never seeing you in your physical form again overwhelms me from time to time. But the Lord has cuddled me and our beautiful family in His arms, and we continue to move, to hope, to dream.

In solidarity of the Hollywood writers strike South African actress Thuso Mbedu has joined the picket line. The Writers Guild of America is a labour union that represents all professional screenwriters and actors in film, television and online video programming.
WGA strike started in May when 11 000 unionised TV and movie writers declared a strike after failed negotiations with production companies. According to IOL, negotiations with production companies focused on writer compensation and other issues, like the use of artificial intelligence in script writing. Read more
