Popular South African entrepreneur, politician, entrepreneur, and music mogul, Thembinkosi TK Nciza is set to tie the knot in December with Lebo Phasha, hailing from Tembisa in Ekurhuleni. Nciza, the Gauteng ANC secretary, was previously married to Nhlanhla Mafu, a member of the popular music duo Mafikizolo. After a 15-year marriage, Nciza and Mafu called it quits in 2019.
Earlier this year, Nciza publicly expressed his love for Phasha and even paid lobola (a traditional dowry) for her. The couple is now taking their relationship to the next level. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place in December in the beautiful winelands of Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
While Phasha and Nciza do not have any children together, Nciza and Mafu share two kids. Phasha is reported to have a child from a previous relationship, although the identity of the child’s father has not been disclosed publicly. It is noteworthy that Nciza will be marrying someone from his region, as both he and Phasha hail from Ekurhuleni. Nciza previously held positions as the ANC Regional Treasurer and later as the Regional Secretary.
Currently, he serves as the Provincial Secretary, working under ANC Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, who is also the Chairperson of the province.
According to sources, a save the date invitation has been sent out for the wedding. “It is going to be one of the best weddings of the year,” says one source. Another source reveals that Phasha, who recently returned from an overseas trip, was seen shopping for a designer wedding dress accompanied by her girlfriends, who will also serve as her bridesmaids. Nciza declined to comment, but according to the source, he is deeply in love and eagerly looking forward to formalizing their relationship.
