In a shocking revelation, veteran musician and producer Chicco Sello Twala has confirmed that he is DJ Lamiez Holworthy’s biological father. Over the weekend the DJ posted photos of her and Chicco with a lot of fans speculating about how they were related. According to a source, Lamiez and Khuli Chana hosted their son’s christening.
Chicco, a well-known South African music producer, songwriter, and businessman has been in the music industry for over 30 years, having worked with several prominent artists in the country. Lamiez, on the other hand, is one of the most sought-after deejays in the entertainment industry. She has been making waves as a DJ, television presenter, and fashion icon, with a huge following on social media. Chicco confirmed the news to ZiMoja but said that he doesn’t like talking about his children in the media and that he would like to keep it that way. “Yes, Lamiez is my daughter, but I won’t go into details,” he said.
Sources close to the situation allege that Chicco and Lamiez’s mother Imelda Klow met when they were both young and allegedly met through a mutual friend.
The source added that Chicco and Lamiez both made a conscious decision not to reveal to the media to avoid talks, especially because they’re both in the same industry. Sbahle Mpisane is out on bail after being arrested for alleged reckless and negligent driving. Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Lt-Col Mavela Masondo confirmed: “a 30-year-old woman was arrested and charged with reckless and negligent driving”.
