South African actor Sello Maake kaNcube has initiated legal action against two women with whom he shares children, suspecting that he may have been misled into believing he is their father. According to reports, KaNcube has instructed his lawyers to request paternity tests to determine his biological connection to the children. One of the women involved is Mmatshilo Motsei, a noted author and speaker. In a recent letter to his legal representatives, KaNcube alleged that Motsei had engaged in an extramarital affair with a journalist while they were together.
“In light of recent developments, I am seeking legal assistance to obtain a summons for a paternity test regarding the child I may have with the second respondent, Mmatshilo Motsei,” read KaNcube’s letter, penned last week. He further detailed his distress over the situation, recounting instances where Motsei had threatened to terminate her pregnancy early on and later confessed to dating another man during his absence in London.
KaNcube also accused Motsei of collaborating against him with their son’s school authorities, insinuating financial liabilities unjustly imposed on him. He described her conduct as questionable and her actions as a deliberate attempt to undermine him.
Additionally, KaNcube has requested a DNA test for another child, Winnie Xundu, whom he has been supporting based on the woman’s claim that he fathered the child upon his return from London approximately 14 years ago. Despite this, KaNcube reportedly harbors doubts regarding his paternity in this case as well.
