Kelly Khumalo celebrates daughter, Thingo’s 9th Birthday

Thingo‘s mother and celebrated vocalist Kelly Khumalo, took to social media to celebrate her daughter’s birthday.

The singer according to Bona uploaded a video on her Instagram Page which featured the birthday girl.

The video was accompanied by a heartwarming message from the Ngathwala Ngaye singer:

“Happy Birthday ThingoLwenkosazane, mama loves you to the moon and back.”

Thingo’s ninth birthday celebration was clearly an event on its own. She might be the daughter of two famous personalities but Kelly stuck to the tradition of many parents of young children and that is to bring pastries for their children’s classmates.

Thingo’s classmates were gifted with specialized cupcakes from Chef Zondi. Staying true to form Kelly shared the moment with her 2.6 million followers on Instagram. The caption read:

“It’s a 9 tomorrow my little girl is getting big. Thank you @chefzondiofficial Thingo and her classmates enjoyed the cupcakes,”

Kelly Khumalo might be seen as a controversial figure when it comes to some elements of her private life but it cannot be denied that she is a very doting mother to her children. The singer is currently expecting her third child.

The singer took to her Instagram timeline where she posted an adorable video with the birthday girl. Thingo grew up in the limelight following the death of her father, professional footballer Senzo Meyiwa.
