Winky D has been nominated for yet another international award. The Gaffa received another international award a few months ago and this is his second nomination in a very short space of time.
This is the 40th edition of the IRAWMA Best African Dancehall Entertainer category.

Winky D has never gone against the President. He has never insulted anyone or sung politics. We know who sings politics. Winky’s music is the conscious type that is relevant to today’s youths as it awakens and conscientises them.
Only those who are excitable& offer nothing politically attack him as an enemy. They seek kufadza vakuru nekumu attacka. He is simply an enemy of corruption! Chibaba ichi! Next independence day he should be there performing. The country needs to be inclusive. #Ibotso
Those youths attacking him should go and mobilise people to register to vote kwete kuswerera zvisina basa. Winky is more patriotic than all of them. Deputy Minister Tino Machakaire has advocated for inclusivity and they should take heed of that.

There was drama at Mazowe (Jumbo) mine where Jameson Hwingwiri (20) stoned his friend over a sadza dispute.
