ARTUZ accuses Teachers4ED for demanding money from teachers and schools

Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) has accused a Zanu-PF shadowy group Teachers for Economic Development (ED) for demanding money from teachers and schools to fund its workshops, believed to be campaigns for the ruling party.ARTUZ said the grouping is forcing teachers and schools to cough up US$10 AND US$500.

Teachers4ED is one of many parallel structures established last year ostensibly to support President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s candidacy for this year’s elections.

Zimbabwean businessman and socialite Mike Chimombe is the nephew of Phillip Chiyangwa. In 2016 Chimombe was the President of the Affirmative Action Group for Mashonaland West Chapter.

Mike Chimombe impregnated his wife’s sister. The sister’s name is Panashe Rusero. A family member who spoke to ZiMetro said Mike started living with Mitchell (his wife) when Panashe was still in Form 2-3, that is in 2009-2010.
