South African actress Natasha Thahane shared a sweet text message she got from the father of her child… is the “baby daddy” Orlando Pirates player Thembinkosi Lorch?
Actress Natasha Thahane just celebrated her baby’s first birthday earlier this month. Soon after giving birth in April 2022, she returned to the set of Netflix’s hit series Blood & Water.
As most women know, being a mom and working comes with it’s challenges. So, Natasha took to Instagram to thank her “baby daddy”, house manager, and everyone else who has helped out.
“POV: You’re a working mom. Thank You to Daddy & our House Manager for holding it down while I get back on my feet again. Thank You to our families, neighbours, friends for their constant support. To my management team and production, thank You. It really takes a village to raise a child,” she wrote.
“Most importantly Thank You Lord for protecting my son. We always think we’re the ones taking care of them but in all honesty! It’s GOD! God is protecting our children and may He continue to watch over them. Qina Mfazi ❤️,” she continued.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Natasha shared a sweet text from her “baby daddy” who encouraged her to chase her dreams.
“I’m really happy seeing you going back to work and do what you love. Go and have fun and don’t stress about (the baby). Please travel safe my baby. I love you,” read the text.

The Blood & Water star and Lorch first sparked romance rumours in June 2021. This was after they were spotted on “baecation” in Zanzibar. However, the duo has since been dribbling Mzansi with their on-and-off romance.
The pair’s relationship status remained unknown for months until the actress surprised Mzansi with her pregnancy announcement in March 2022. She gave birth on 7 April. This was amid uncertainty regarding the identity of the father of the child.
Despite the mystery, many were convinced Lorch is indeed the “baby daddy”. This was after Lorch and Natasha both shared their Instagram Stories of the same location where they appeared to be on vacation together in June 2022.
After sparking rumours of cheating and break ups – Natasha and Lorch had fans believing they have privately tied the knot – in November 2022. The actress shared photos of herself in traditional wear which has led many to believe that she got married. However, neither of the stars confirmed they are in a relationship, let alone married.
