Sonia Booth to launch Cheesecake inpsired alcohol Drink

Just when fans thought Sonia Booth has done enough to capitalize on the highly-publicised “cheesecake gate,” the mother-of-two is now set to launch a beverage for her alcoholic brand named Marula Cheesecake – according to Sunday World. The 2001 Miss SA second princess will launch her beverage on Youth Day, 16 June, in Pimville, Soweto, where she is from.

This isn’t the first cheesecake-inspired product under Sonia, as she announced in February that she is selling ice cream – and not just any ice cream, but marula cheesecake flavored ice cream. The word cheesecake is very significant because it set tongues wagging last year in Sonia exposed of her estranged husband’s alleged affair.

Putting the former soccer player on blast in November 2022, Sonia shared evidence to support her claims on her husband’s alleged cheating escapades.

According to Sonia, Matthew had been using their joint bank account and her vehicle, which has a tracker in it, to spend quality time with Bongani. The two allegedly took a road trip to Empangeni in KwaZulu-Natal, they spent valentines day together and also had lunch dates. She also claimed that Matthew baked a cheesecake cake, for his alleged girlfriend on the eve of their son’s birthday that they thought they would feast on as a family.

In response to the allegations, the soccer pundit released a statement he shared on social media two days later, saying that the allegations are “unfounded”.

“It is with utmost sadness and a disappointment that my wife Sonia Booth resorted to airing these unfounded allegations on all public platforms with an intention to tarnish my name without discussing them with me, and without considering the damage that these allegations will cause, especially to our minor children who are in the middle of their final exams and to the Mthombeni Möller family,” his statement read in part.

According to City Press, Bongani also denied the accusations in a court application seeking an order to compel Sonia to remove the alleged defamatory statements on her social media accounts.
