Photos: Nadia Nakai jets off to Zanzibar, Tanzania on Durban July weekend

Zimbabwean-South African rapper Nadia Nakai‘s late boyfriend, AKA was assassinated in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, outside a restaurant, which is a thing she, the friends, and family of Kiernan Forbes will have to live with for the rest of their lives.

Due to this incident, even his baby mama and ex-girlfriend, DJ Zinhle had to cancel some shows in Durban saying she was not comfortable traveling there yet. She said:

“I cannot lie to you guys, I’m not ready for Durban. Emotionally, I’m not ready at all. I get a little anxious thinking about being in Durban. It’s going to be a while before I can be in Durban,” she said.

“I’m going through the most. Forget about seeing me in Durban. It’s not even that I am mad at Durban. It’s just hard. It’s only been three months since Kiernan died, so maybe with time. But I’m hoping I never change my mind.”

It seems Nadia has followed suit, and has snubbed the ongoing Hollywoodbets Durban July 2023 and has instead jetted off to Zanzibar, Tanzania which is in East Africa to have a great time of her life. Going to Durban would have probably woken up the old wounds.
