Popular South African media personality, television presenter, actor, choreographer, and socialite, Somizi Mhlongo is set to donate his clothes after a weight gain. The Idols SA judge is one man who has managed to keep his weight in control over the years.
He was always dancing and doing a lot of exercises, which helped him keep his weight controlled.
It, however, seemed as if Somizi was set to lose the battle with weight management. He shared this on his Instagram. Trying to wear his clothes, but he could not manage to do it.
His post left many fans sharing their sad stories such that they get to get the clothes.
One fan specifically opened their heart, wanting to get the clothes.
“Can my brother be the lucky young man please Somsom wethu❤️”
Somizi is one of the best fashionistas in South Africa and does not disappoint almost always.
A few weeks he rocked Durban July with his top-class and expensive outfits, and fans loved it.
On his Instagram, Somizi Mhlongo penned a lengthy text expressing how much his wardrobe struggles with weight gain.
“Time for new wardrobe coz wow. Kubi. But to be honest, I’m loving my weight gain. It’s just that it’s costly. I’m gonna donate to some size 28/30 young men out there. Happy Xmas” he said.
His idea that restocking his wardrobe is costly left some fans thinking he was only joking, given how rich he is.

After Somizi said he would donate his clothes because of his weight gain, fans are pleading to get the donation.

“I work with an NPO which is on about clothes drive donations and all, we’d highly appreciate any clothing item you’d like to donate and we personally take them to whoever we have to giveaway to. 🙏”
