Archbishop Johannes Ndanga’s mother dies

Mother of Dr Archbishop Johannes Ndanga, Gogo Josefina Mukanhairi Ndanga has died.  She passed on Friday night in Chirumhanzu after battling a long illness.  African Christian Council International (ACCI) announced the passing  of Gogo Ndanga in a statement.

“The African Christian Council International (ACCI) Board of Governors and the Council of Elders wishes to convey deepest condolences to the Ndanga Family following the passing on of Josefina Mukanhairi Ndanga, Mother to ACCI Grant President Dr Archbishop Johannes Ndanga.”

“May our Heavenly Lord, Jesus Christ be with the Ndanga Family during these difficult moments.”

Born on 29 October 1927 Gogo Ndanga survived by eight (8) Children. Dr Archbishop Ndanga is the fifth born in a family of five (5) boys and three (3) girls.

In other news – Fire destroys University of Zimbabwe campus block

On Friday morning, a destructive fire erupted at the University of Zimbabwe’s main campus, consuming a building that housed the physics department. Social media photos depicted the structure engulfed in flames.

Fadzayi Mahere, the Mount Pleasant legislator and chair of the parliamentary portfolio committee on education, verified the incident in a post on her platform.
