Olinda Chapel questions artists who were not at Garry Mapanzure’s funeral

Zimbabwean celebrities are under fire on social media for skipping Garry Mapanzure‘s funeral and failing to pay their last respects to the star who died after he was involved in a car accident on Thursday.

Fans expected most celebrities who posted pictures of the artist to attend the funeral but only Hillzy took time and traveled from South Africa just to pay tribute to our late star.

Taking to Twitter businesswoman and socialite Olinda Chapel questioned artists who were not at the funeral. This has raised a lot of questions on why this happened. The artists have not responded but it seemed others had shows on Saturday and others just chose not to attend.

“I have a very stupid question 🙋‍♀️ I watched Garry‘s funeral and am I the only one who noticed his colleagues in the industry were missing? I mean kasi mu music industry hamunobata maoko ? All those pics you were posting with him were they just for clout ?”

Musician Garry Mapanzure was laid to rest yesterday in Masvingo. There have been questions about where all the other artists were, Hillzy was seen at the funeral but other artists were not present.
