Congratulations are in order for South African singer Rethabile Khumalo as she prepares to become a first time mom. The singer was thrilled about the next chapter of her life when she took to her timeline to announce she is the mother of a baby boy.

“New beginnings. New music. As I welcome my son Culo,” she captioned the post.

Rethabile’s mother Winnie also shared images from her baby shower with the caption: “New beginnings, new Music#Culo, New baby #Culo. Welcome to motherhood.”

Rethabile Khumalo recently opened up on why she appreciates having a mother who had been in the music industry long before she ventured into music.

“I’m so lucky to have Winnie Khumalo as my mother because I have someone who understands the journey for an artist, the ups and downs of the journey. I have watched her go through ups and downs in her career and survive them. That’s how I know I can and I will too.”
