Mphowabadimo dragged for denying Themba access to his Son

Big Brother Mzansi season 3 winner, reality TV star, and sangoma Mphowabadimo has received backlash on social media for not allowing Themba “Broly” Mabaso to see their son.

The former couple became popular on the third season of the much-loved DStv reality TV competition Big Brother Mzansi (BBM) last year they started dating shortly after the show, got engaged, and even sparked marriage rumours.

Speaking about their relationship on MacG’s YouTube show, Podcast and Chill, Mpho said that Themba “needs to right his wrongs” in order to see their son who was born earlier this year.

“I’m not depriving him from seeing his child, but the manner in which we broke up was not beautiful so it’s kind of hard to rebuild that bridge.”

She further explained that there is a process Themba needs to follow, in accordance with her calling as a sangoma, to see his son. Mpho said that the process or cultural practice is similar to two families coming together for lobola negotiations. Until that is done, she said she cannot allow Themba to see their child.

Themba, who is also a tattoo artist and musician, has two other children with his baby mama, Nqobile Khuzwayo. Mpho has an older son.Themba Broly

Here are some of the reactions from X users, slamming Mpho for not allowing Themba to see the baby.

“He wronged her not the child. She must grant him access,to his offspring and stop making this about her.”

“Basically she’s admitting that she will deny Themba access to his child, that’s if she isn’t already despite making it sound like he’s the one not reaching out? Yah neh, denying a child the chance to have a relationship with their parent coz yours didn’t work out is crazy.”

“Themba must go to court, why so many Ts and Cs for him to access the child.”
