Nadia Nakai shared a heartbreaking image of AKA’s child Kairo Forbes sitting on his tombstone on his birthday

An image posted by Nadia Nakai of Kairo Forbes sitting on the tombstone of her father, AKA – real name Kiernan Forbes – has pulled at the heartstrings of fans. The eight-year-old – the only child of the slain star – remembered her father on his birthday on Sunday, 28 January.

Kairo – whose mother is DJ Zinhle – was joined by Kiernan’s parents, Lynn and Tony Forbes, and girlfriend Nadia, in a visit to his final resting place at the Westpark Cemetary. On her Instagram Stories, Nadia Nakai revealed how AKA’s nearest and dearest celebrated his 36th birthday. The female entertainer claims the rapper’s daughter shared her wish to release 36 white balloons into the sky overlooking his grave.

In her hand, she carried a purple balloon with the words “Happy Birthday” printed across them. Oh Kairo, I’m so sorry,” she captioned the image.
