Roki gives advice to his fellow artists in the music industry

Musician Rockford Josphat pens a piece of advice to fellow artists and new talents in the music industry. The Zviriko hitmaker has shared how pride can destroy one’s music career and advised other musicians to learn from his past mistakes. He posted:

“I don’t think pane akandiroya. Wrong choices urimudiki, patakazvitanga zvaispaka fame yakapinda mumusoro even though uchigona kuimba zvinoshaya basa so ada musicians must learn from my mistakes…. thank God ndakakurumidza kuzviona fast 🙏😇”

Roki left the country in 2016 and went to South Africa after assaulting his girlfriend. Rumors say his trip worsened his situation. He returned to the country in 2018 and made peace with his girlfriend before selling his studio equipment and relocating to Chitsvatsva Village for a poultry business.

Roki found his mojo back two years ago when he met Passion Java, since then Roki has been working on his career again, the musician released a lot of songs and collaborated with international musicians like Koffie Olomide, Awilo Longomba, and D’Banj.

Recently Roki launched vocal classes to coach young musicians on becoming professional singers and songwriters.

A 60-year-old man has been arrested on charges of allegedly kidnapping 25 school children he was supposed to deliver to their homes in Harare but were found stranded and crying in his stationary kombi 103km away in Macheke.
