Today Saturday, 18 February 2023 marks the official but private funeral ceremony of rapper and Hip-Hop legend Kiernan Jarryd “AKA” Forbes. The rapper died at the age of 35 after being assassinated on Friday, 11 February 2023 when exiting the Wish restaurant in Durban.
An assassination that also claimed his former manager and friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. While the official statement of the memorial service and funeral procession did detail the dates and time for the memorial service, it did not reveal the time for the funeral procession.
But as visuals of the rapper’s convoy to his final resting place has surfaced, it seems that the funeral started at 10:00 in the morning.
AKA finally laid to rest
Visuals of AKA’s friends, family and team were shared as they convoyed to the rapper’s final resting place. However, given that the funeral is private there have not been visuals of the entire convoy arriving there or the events that took place.
