Harare soldier caught with 1kg of cannabis

Dzivarasekwa-based soldier Peter Kamonera is in soup after he was found in possession of one kilogram of dagga. The 38-year-old soldier was arrested in Mazowe after the police suspected his movements.

Kamonera was dragged to Concession magistrates today where he was remanded in custody. The state led by Munyaradzi Nengomasha alleges on November 21 around 9 pm the police who were on patrol saw the soldier moving with a plastic bag full of Mbanje but he showed no confidence.

They stopped him and searched him before arresting him at the Mazowe service station bus stop.

In other news – Musician Tytan sued for s.e.x.ual harassment

Zimbabwean musician Tytan ex-husband of socialite and businesswoman Olinda Chapel has been accused of sexual harassment by a former female employee at Gain Healthcare. The former employee is suing Tytan for sexual harassment, claiming that he made advances towards her while at his wife’s workplace.

The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, revealed that she joined Gain Healthcare, a company owned by Olinda as a newly registered manager. She alleges that she did not receive appropriate inductions upon starting her job. During her tenure, she claims Tytan made unwelcome sexual advances towards her. Read More
