The result reinforced Guruve Hotel’s status as a serious title contender and further built momentum for the team.

The in-form visitors, led by their chairman Valentine Nyanhete, started strong and dominated from the opening frames. Nyanhete, who led by example in the first two games, helped set the pace and establish early control, effectively silencing the home side’s supporters.

We have not lost a single game from the eight matches played so far, and today’s win is a massive morale booster as we push forward in the title race,” said Nyanhete after the match.

The victory marks  Pool Club’s eighth straight win in the league, maintaining a flawless record and sending a clear warning to other teams in the 26-club competition. Their disciplined play, sharp focus, and cohesive teamwork have quickly turned them into the team to beat.

The defeat is a wake-up call. We didn’t expect to lose to Guruve Hotel, but that’s sport—you win some, you lose some. Today, we were outplayed,” Musokeri said.
